The CCC mark usage regulation for some motor vehicle components

In accordance with joint announcement No.137 [2005] by AQSIQ* and CNCA*，from December 01, 2006, all motor vehicle components (listed in compulsory certification catalogue) which not gotten compulsory product certificate and not tagged compulsory certification mark, can not be left factory、sold、imported or applied in business. For the particularity of motor vehicle components, to improve and standardize the management/usage of China Compulsory Certification Mark (CCC Mark), CNCA has established 《The CCC mark usage regulation for some motor vehicle components》（see annex）, and announce to public now, please implement by this regulation.

The CCC mark usage regulation for some motor vehicle components
1. Three kinds of motor vehicle components, such as vehicle retro-reflector product (category 1107) 、vehicle external lighting and light signaling device(category 1109) 、motorcycle external lighting and light signaling device(category 1116), are allowed to tag basic pattern of CCC mark (i.e. transformed certification mark which not added “S”) when transact mark printing、impressing.
2. Allow to tag pattern of normal CCC Mark and special pattern of “China Compulsory Certification mark” (i.e. tagging transformed “CCC” mark pattern).
3. Allow to tag CCC mark on the body back of motor vehicles interior trimming material product (category 111).
4. Six kinds of product, such as motor vehicle retro-reflector product (category 1107)、motor vehicle brake hose assembly (category 1108)、motor vehicles external lighting and light signaling device(category 1109)、motorcycle external lighting and light signaling device(category 1116)、motor vehicles steering recorder(category 1117) and body reflector mark (category 1118), are allowed to tag 8mm normal SCCC mark during interim which deadline will be May 31, 2007. Once expiring, the enterprise who got certificate already must tag CCC mark strictly according to implementation rule of compulsory certification.
For some types of motor vehicle which fabrication had been stopped, if their following six kinds of parts are applied to maintenance (their CCC certificates are indicated for maintenance only): such as motor vehicle retro-reflector (category 1107)、motor vehicle brake hose assembly (category 1108)、motor vehicles external lighting and light signaling device(category 1109)、motorcycle external lighting and light signaling device(category 1116)、motor vehicles steering recorder(category 1117) and body reflector mark (category 1118), their maintenance parts (which model are listed in CCC certificates) are allowed to maintain tagging normal CCC mark after May 31, 2007.
5. Excepting above four terms, when motor vehicle components which in catalogue tag CCC mark, should comply with corresponding compulsory certification implementation rule strictly.
